The transformation of rustic pieces of history into functional art forms.

Hello. My name is Lynden Boone Durkee.
I established Boone’s Rustic Works in 1972. The Boone family name comes from my 5th great-grandfather Daniel Boone. My business concept was to take very old and rustic-looking pieces such as industrial cast iron flat belt pulleys, agricultural tilling discs, equipment, and much more---as you will see---and transform them into functional art forms people can use. It is one of the best ways to preserve these historical pieces in a way that they are not just looked at as in a museum setting but rather functionally used, appreciated, and enjoyed in everyday life.
I just love that old rusty stuff!

I even love drinking that rusty mineral water!

Who says drinking a gallon of rusty water can't lead to anything good? Look who I found at the spring!

See what I mean? Rustic life is good for you.

Sometimes a rusty mind makes you look at things a little differently, like................................................
"Getting the shaft" has a different meaning.....

So does "Getting hooked on something"........

And aren't these "compact discs?"..................

I shouldn't, but I like getting a little "Cranky"..

Or... what I think of as a "Tailgate Party"

We hope you enjoy the rustic sights on this site!

Boone.
