Plumbers Pot Table Lamp
This was used to heat up lead back when cast iron sewer pipe was fitted together with a bond formed by first packing oakum (an oily kind of hemp) into the fitting and then pouring hot lead into the rest of the fitting cavity. This lamp has a 3-way switch socket.

This is a very old copper tube Hotstream water heater. It has a pull-chain switch to turn on a light that shines down the center of the copper coil, inside the heater. It also has a 3-way switch socket for the top light.

Button Bit Drill Table Lamp
This drill has carbide points inserted into the main steel body that do the cutting when drilling into the earth. After being worn from use, they look like buttons sticking out---hence the name "button bit," I’m told. This lamp has a 3-way switch socket.

Hand-Wheel Table Lamp
The base is a hand-wheel off of an old printing press. It was used to manually advance the press during setup before the start of a run. This base has very nice coloring due to some of its original coatings still showing. This lamp has a push-button switch socket.

This is simply a great piece of history. These bearings were used to support large rotating shafts in many different types of equipment. The threaded hole I used for the upright that supports the bulb socket and shade was originally where the hand-twist grease cap went. The clock is 2 ½" round and battery-operated. Clinton Engine Table Lamp
1940's Clinton 4-stroke gasoline engine. When you turn the crank shaft, it activates a switch that controls both the large light bulb at the top as well as the small night light that illuminates the fly wheel behind the screen and the cylinder-head cooling fins.
