Oval Mirror
This mirror has a ¾" band around its edge, held with tacks and an oval ring made of small rod on the inner side of the band.

Gas Pump Sign Frame Mirror/Clock
This is made from an old round gas pump sign frame that was used on the top of gas pumps in the 1920’s & 1930’s. The other side has a 14" Clock. The clock is made from a tilling disc, with nuts welded on it for the numbers.
Specifications: 9 ¾" x 18 3/8" base and is 16" tall. It weighs 25 pounds.

Meter Box Mirror
This is an old Sangamo Electric Company electricity meter mounting box. It is like the one on your house, but old. I thought I would try to make some money off of something that is always keeping track of how much money I owe. I think it's a really cute piece with its wires and old specification tag.
Specifications: 5 1/2" round mirror, and is 7 ½" tall. It weighs 5 pounds.

Ring Gear Mirror
This automotive ring gear was used on the outside of the flywheel. The gear on the starter would engage the ring gear and rotate the motor to start it. The mirror is held in by a ¼" round rod formed to press-fit the inside diameter of the ring.
Specifications: 15 ½" round, ¾" thick, and it weighs 4 ½ pounds.

Friction Disc Mirror
This, I was told, is a friction disc that was used in conjunction with others like it to control the transference of power or torque in a transmission. Several of these stacked together and held in a housing allowed smooth control by adding or reducing the pressure on them.

Door Trolley Mirror
This is upside down from the way it was originally used. The wheel rode on a thin rail mounted to the building above the door opening. The bolts you see bolted through the sliding door, suspending it from the building. The small spoked wheel still rolls on this one.

Porthole Mirror
This is a great cast iron inspection porthole with a hinging cover. Evenly rusted with some of its original white paint still attached. They were used in various applications such as boilers, fire boxes, and valve access points.

Oval Beveled Barbed Wire Mirror
This is a ¼" plate beveled mirror wrapped with a rusted 3/4" x 1/16" steel band. I then added 4 rows of barbed wire around the band. Hangs vertically or horizontally.

Rim Ring Mirror
This is a retaining ring used to hold a tire on a rim. A natural for a mirror. When removed from the rim, it allowed you to slide the tire off one side of the rim for repair or replacement.

This is an oldie. Back when they used to set lead type for printing presses, they used frames like this. The mirror is held in by a ¼" round rod formed to press-fit the inside of the frame.

Range Warmer Door Mirror
This is a really nice cast iron door from the Wrought Iron Range Company. By its size, my guess is that it was for a warming compartment. Great raised lettering logo plate that still has quite a bit of nickel plating left.

Cook Top Mirror
This is the top to a small one-burner natural gas cook top. It had such a fancy grate that I couldn't pass it up. Made by the American Foundry Co.
